I'm a Southern Aranda woman, from 100 kilometres south of Alice Springs. Where I come from on Desert country, water is sacred. All of our permanent waterholes are really sacred places because water is so scarce. Water is the lifeblood of our people. Country men and women from all across the Territory are standing up to tell the Government that we don't want fracking under any circumstances. It's not okay to do it on anyones country because our water is all connected.
